We thank you for visiting our website and encourage you to check it frequently to find out the latest news about Creston Middle School.

At Creston Middle School you will find a highly motivated staff dedicated to meeting both the academic and social needs of every student. Instruction is aligned with the Indiana State Standards and driven by student achievement data. Creston Middle School follows the Eight Step Instructional Process implemented consistently throughout Warren Townships Schools.

Thanks to the Race to the Top Grant awarded to the MSD of Warren Township, Creston Middle School students have access to individual Chromebooks in the majority of their classes. In addition, the mediaplex was redesigned to include a dual-screen computer lab, and a collaborative learning lab complete with dry erase board tables and mac work stations. These are exciting times as we prepare our students for the Twenty-First Century workplace.

At the school’s core is a School-wide Positive Behavior System called CORE

These four components are the pillars in which students are taught expectations and procedures. Students that demonstrate these traits are provided positive reinforcements such as verbal recognition and more tangible items such as CORE cash which can be used to purchase special privileges or rewards.

Creston Middle School offers a variety of extra-curricular activities such as: Athletics, Student Council, Yearbook, National Junior Honor Society, Boys to Men, and Academic Pursuit Team. We encourage our students to get involved and stay connected to their school.

Forming a partnership between school and home is extremely important for student success. Please do not hesitate to call or email me if you have questions or concerns.

Your Principal,
Chad Reedy

"I believe that the middle school years for students are critical, and often challenging times as students navigate the transition from childhood to adolescence. I believe in providing a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment that provides guidance for our youth while building the
future leaders of tomorrow.”

--Chad Reedy
